Sensory Performance Course:
8 weeks of sensory and cognitive training!

This extensive Sensory Performance course is designed to improve your sensory skills within just eight weeks regardless if you are a coffee, wine, beer or food lover!

The course consists of two sensory skill assessments at the venue (test 1 and 2) with four weeks of e-learning, for you to do at home, in between test 1 and 2, and after test 2.

Included in the e-learning is an online training program, where you train your sensory and cognitive skills 10 minutes per day. You will receive a small training kit after the test days, that includes aromas to identify and powder for basic taste dilution exercises. You just have to get online and follow the training instructions!

10th of December 2021: Test 1: First sensory skills assessment at RoR, Dubai

7th of January 2022: Test 2: Second sensory skills assessment at RoR, Dubai.

Time: The test days at the venue starts at 10am and ends at 3pm.

The program is developed by Ida Steen as part of her PhD in Sensory Learning.

Even though this is a general method for sensory learning we have incorporated the SCA Sensory Skills Foundation curriculum which enables the learner to participate in an online exam to acquire the SCA Sensory Skills Foundation diploma (certification fee from SCA is charged). The level as such is not limited to SCA Sensory Skills Foundation as the personal feedback is useful for both beginners and the most advanced cuppers and this program is equally useful for beginners as well as the most skilled experts in the industry.
