As an online business we are obliged to tell you that the European Commission’s online complaint portal can be used when filing a complaint that cannot be resolved directly with us. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. Link to complaint procedure here. Limited responsibility for loss and damage on equipment and personnel
All advice and suggestions regarding production methods and technology from CoffeeMind are given from a quality control perspective and CoffeeMind can not be held responsible for any loss related to implementation of any advice given.
In the advice given by CoffeeMind it is taken for granted that the customer themselves are responsible for following the advice and responsible for the condition of the equipment at time of implementation. It is the responsibility of the customer to check if any advice violates instructions or warnings in the instruction manuals of the equipment prior to implementation. Always consult instruction manuals and the equipment manufacturer as part of the initial steps of the implementation process. Also all changes to mechanics, electricity or gas installations should be conducted by authorized personnel with sufficient certifications so if any advice is given from CoffeeMind it is taken for granted that the customer will have the changes made by such authorized personnel that also carries the responsibility to any accidents and/or loss in connection with the change in equipment and/or installation.
Reschedule or cancellation policy
Academy: Cancellations made more than 2 weeks before a course starts can be refunded in total, whereas cancellations made less than 2 weeks before course starts can only be refunded at 75% of the total fee as the place has been blocked from other participants.
On site consultancy: For on site consultancy services, cancellations made more than 2 weeks before the start day of the consultancy visit will be entitled to a full refund, whereas cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the start day of the consultancy will only be entitled to a 75% refund of the total fee. For bank transfer payment of consultancy fees the full consultancy fee has to be transferred early enough for the amount to arrive and be visible in CoffeeMind’s bank account at the latest on the day of departure. If the amount is not visible in CoffeeMind’s bank account on the day of departure, the consultant will not commence travel and the consultancy plan will be cancelled. Even though we love to help startups, we are not willing to share any financial risk with our customers in terms of the payment of consultancy fees which is why we insist on receiving paymen in full before departure for any consultancy job.
Online consultancy: Cancellation of online consultancy services made up to 24 hours before the scheduled online consultancy session can be refunded in full. If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the start time of the consultancy session, only 50% of the fee will be refunded.
There is 24 months warranty and 14 days cancellation of orders on equipment bought at coffee-mind.com where you will get a full refund on the equipment if it comes back in intact condition. There is no refund on the shipping costs.
As a general rule, no refund is possible for the cancellation of consultancy services once they are purchased from CoffeeMind’s web shop. In case you regret a purchase, please contact CoffeeMind immediately and we will try to resolve this to the possible satisfaction for both parties. If you have already received the consultancy either online or in person by a consultant, it is even more unlikely to be refunded, but since our success builds on good experiences, please contact us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to find a satisfactory solution.
Equipment purchased thought this website is fully refundable providing that the packaging has not been opened and in the same condition as when it was received. If the packaging has been opened, then the goods are non refundable. The cost of shipment involved in case of a refund is always paid for by the customer.
Resolvement of disputes
Any dispute (we have not had any and don’t expect to get any!) will exclusively be resolved in court in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Your acceptance of these terms
By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
